Funding & your NDIS plan

Please note: house moving and furniture removals are not a direct service funded under most NDIS plans. In some situations it may be considered reasonable and necessary, for example, when a move is essential, directly tied to your disability-related goals and aligned with your individual capacity. We work closely with your support coordinator to assess whether your circumstances meet those criteria, and to clarify how the move can be funded (NDIS, privately or a combination) before any work begins.

Planned around accessibility

We assess access at both properties in advance, plan around mobility equipment and medical needs, and coordinate timing with your support workers so the move is calm and predictable.

Careful handling of specialty equipment

Hoists, hospital beds, power wheelchairs, shower commodes and communication devices need more than a removal truck, they need people who understand how they work. Our crew is trained to disconnect, transport and reinstall assistive equipment safely, and we coordinate with your OT or equipment supplier when a specialist set-up is required at the new home.

End-to-end move support

We can help with much more than the truck, from sourcing packing materials and organising utility connections, through to set-up of bedrooms, kitchens and accessible bathrooms so your new home is ready to use from day one. If you need rubbish removal, charity donations or storage, we'll arrange that too.

Working with your support network

We liaise with your support coordinator, family and housing provider throughout the process, keep documentation clear for plan-managed and self-managed participants, and provide transparent quotes so there are no surprises on moving day.
