What a stay looks like
We plan stays around your routine, dietary needs and preferred activities. Every guest has their own goals, relaxation, social connection, life-skill development, or a chance for family carers to recharge, and we build the stay around them.
Emergency and short-notice respite
When carers face unexpected circumstances, we can usually offer short-notice respite to keep everyone safe and supported. Call us anytime to discuss availability.
Supporting carers and families
Caring for a loved one is rewarding, but it's also relentless. Regular respite is one of the best ways to protect a carer's health, relationships and wellbeing, and to keep the long-term caring arrangement sustainable. We work with families to plan respite in advance, so it becomes a normal, expected part of life rather than a last resort.
What makes our stays different
Small group sizes, a homely environment, varied daily activities and properly trained support workers, including registered nurses on call for participants with clinical needs. We provide accessible bedrooms, communal lounge spaces, and outings tailored to the guests staying that week.
Funded through your NDIS plan
STA and respite are typically funded under Core, Assistance with Daily Life. We'll help you check your plan, confirm available funding and coordinate the booking with your support coordinator or plan manager. Stays can be paid by NDIA-managed, plan-managed or self-managed participants.
